Prevent rock slippage in your reef aquarium Aquascape is a two-part epoxy adhesive specially formulated by D-D for use in saltwater and freshwater aquariums and other aquatic applications.
In marine aquariums, it is ideal for bonding live rock into complex structures by preventing the rock from being destroyed by snails, sea urchins or strong currents. The glue is suitable for preparing coral fragments and creating shell bases, as it prevents them from being attacked and eventually killed by bristle worms. In addition, it can be used to repair leaking plumbing, broken equipment, or to glue objects to the aquarium glass. Aquascape is stickier than most glues, so it binds more easily to wet substrates. The purple version is designed to dry underwater to the color of coral algae. This makes it look natural in marine aquariums even before it becomes encrusted with true coralline algae. Note, however, that once it has cured out of the water, the color will become even darker and only then will it match the dark red color of coralline algae. For freshwater aquariums and for repairing liners and pre-formed ponds, the gray version may be more appropriate, but either color can be used in any environment.
