Delivery and Inspection of Your Maxspect Smart Lagoon Aquarium
Your Maxspect Smart Lagoon Aquarium is carefully packaged in a sturdy wooden crate to ensure optimal protection during transport.
However, it is crucial to carefully inspect the shipment upon receipt to ensure the integrity of your aquarium.
Inspection Procedure:
Before signing the delivery receipt:
- Check the condition of the wooden crate. Look for signs of damage such as dents, bumps, cracks, or holes.
- Never accept a damaged package. If the wooden crate shows signs of damage, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.
- Open the wooden crate and inspect the aquarium. Make sure the glass is not broken, cracked, or otherwise damaged.
In case of damage to the aquarium:
- Reject the entire delivery. Do not sign the delivery receipt under any circumstances.
- Contact us immediately to report the damage and arrange a new shipment.
- Clearly note "BROKEN AQUARIUM - DELIVERY REFUSED" on the delivery receipt. Do not provide any other information about the condition of the packaging.
If the aquarium is in perfect condition:
- Sign the delivery receipt after checking the contents of the crate.
- Keep the delivery receipt for your records.
Important Notes:
- The notation "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION AND BREAKAGE UPON UNPACKING" has no legal validity.
- In case of unreported damage, the carrier may reject your claim and you will be responsible for the replacement costs.
- You have a maximum of 48 hours from receipt of the aquarium to report any missing or non-conforming goods. After this period, no claims will be considered.
