Explanation of how to use Nite Out II and start the nitrification process in combination with Special Blend:
Before using Nite Out II, it is advisable to first use Microbe-Lift® Special Blend (see above) to remove any remaining organic waste, as a high concentration of organic waste can restrict or even prevent the nitrification process. Only use Nite Out II one to two days after using Microbe-Lift® Special Blend to allow it to do its work first. It is also important to first test the pH value (which must be between 7.9 and 8.5) and check whether there is sufficient carbonate hardness. The KH value must always be at least 3dH°. This is very important because the nitrifying bacteria use this as fuel. Seven parts of carbonate hardness are consumed for one part of ammonium! Without good KH values, there is no nitrit

Nite-Out II is a specially developed bacterial blend of purely biological ingredients that accelerates and perfects the establishment and upkeep of marine and freshwater aquariums.
