Barium is a trace element found in reefs around the world and plays an important role in the calcification of corals.

It is important to check barium levels using ICP analysis and to ensure adequate levels and stability by dosing barium as needed.

Barium levels in seawater vary greatly depending on the ocean and depth, but it is generally agreed that a level of 10 µg/l is an acceptable concentration.

Using Barium Zlement in conjunction with a regular testing procedure will allow any aquarist to correct barium levels and ensure that the levels in their aquarium water remain within the optimum range for their friends.

1ml of Barium Zlement will increase the barium concentration of 100 litres by 1 μg/l.
