Bromine is a macro-element found in all the world's reefs.
Although its physiological effects are still being researched, it is thought that some animals use it to defend themselves against predators. Bromine is also thought to support good LPS/SPS colouration and health.
Bromine is a macro-element that is quickly depleted in the water of our aquariums.
It is therefore important to check its levels by ICP analysis and ensure its stability by dosing a bromine supplement as needed.
The natural bromine concentration is about 65 mg/l.
Bromine Zlement in conjunction with a regular testing procedure allows any aquarist to correct bromine levels and ensure that the levels in their aquarium water remain in the optimum range for their friends.
10 ml Bromine Zlement will increase the bromine concentration of 100 litres by 5 mg/l.
