Sangokai Clean anio 750 g (20016)

Product no.: 119250

33,27 EUR per kg CLEAN anio

Flexible anion adsorber for nutrient and pollutant control

- Adsorption medium based on iron hydroxide with 0.5 - 4 mm mixed grain size.

- Primarily binds phosphate and silicate in seawater.

- Reduces organic pollutant loads (yellow substances) and contributes to water clarification.

- Removes highly elevated concentrations of trace substances, including some heavy metals.

- Various passive and active applications.

Before use, CLEAN anio must be rinsed thoroughly to remove abrasion (see above)!

Dosing recommendations for phosphate reduction:

more than (>) 0.15 mg/L phosphate: 75 g (approx. 100 mL) CLEAN anio per 100 litres of aquarium water.

0.1 - 0.15 mg/L phosphate: 50 g (approx. 70 mL) CLEAN anio per 100 litres of aquarium water.

0.05 - 0.1 mg/L phosphate: 25 g (approx. 40 mL) CLEAN anio per 100 litres of aquarium water.

0.02 - 0.05 mg/L phosphate: 10 - max. 20 g (approx. 15 - 30 mL) CLEAN anio per 100 litres of aquarium water if required.

If an originally high phosphate content > 0.15 mg/L is successfully reduced to the lower level in the above dosing recommendation, the dosing quantity should also be adjusted according to the recommendation.

Caution: to avoid phosphate deficiency situations, the product must be removed from the reef aquarium if the phosphate content is less than or equal to 0.01 mg PO4/L. Reducing phosphate too quickly can cause problems for corals, therefore no more than 0.01 mg/L should be removed from the water per day.

Dosing recommendations for reducing elevated trace element concentrations (e.g. arsenic, aluminium):

The use of small amounts of CLEAN anio (approx. 10 - 20 g/100 litres) over a longer period of 2-3 months is recommended. The material is replaced with fresh material (rinsed and soaked in osmosis water for 12-24 hours) every 10-14 days. ATTENTION: it is nevertheless important to prevent a phosphate deficiency. In acute phosphate deficiency situations with visible symptoms, CLEAN anio should be removed from the reef aquarium.

A maximum quantity of 20 g per 100 litres should not be exceeded.

After 2-3 months, the trace metal content should be checked by laboratory analysis. The binding of trace elements by CLEAN anio is usually non-specific and can be very variable at high phosphate or silicate concentrations and due to biofilm formation on the material surface.
