Phos-Reduce is a phosphate (PO4) and silicate adsorber based on granular iron(III)-(hydr-)oxide.
The binding capacities for PO4 and silicate are extraordinarily high compared to most comparable products.
Phos-Reduce also contributes significantly to water purification and removes yellow and turbid substances.
Properties and features:
- Very high active surface through targeted selection of the grain size fractions (500 µm - 4 mm).
- Good flowability due to mixed granulation, even when used in a filter bag.
Wash out the granules with osmosis water before use.
Recommended use:
- Adapt the dosage to the PO4 content:
over 0.15 mg/L :100 g / 100 L
0.05 - 0.15 mg/L : 50 g / 100 L
under 0.05 mg/L : 20 g / 100 L
Excessive use of Adsorbers can lead to increased coral mortality!
Place the appropriate amount of Phos-Reduce in the filter sock
in a well-flowing place in the aquarium or Sump and knead every 2-3 days.
Use in the fluidized bed filter between sponges is recommended.
An acute red coloration and turbidity of the water is harmless.
