clinophos
Filter media for coral reef aquariums
clinophos is a two-component filter medium for use in fluidized bed filters. Clinophos can be used to achieve a reduction in nitrate (NO3) and phosphate (PO4) levels in coral reef aquariums.
Recommended use:
- Use clinophos only in fluidized bed or zeolite filters.
- Application: 100 mL clinophos per 100 L aquarium volume (net).
- Flow rate in the filter: approx. 100 L/h per 100 mL clinophos. Example: when using 1000 mL clinophos, a 1000 L/h pump is necessary.
- Please check NO3- and PO4-content before the first application and also during the application regularly!

- Every 4 weeks replace approx. 1/3 of the material with fresh clinophos.
Available in 1000 mL and 2500 mL containers.
