ATI® Zeo Plus is a high-purity, natural zeolite mixture with a granule size of 16-32 mm and a clinoptilolite content of approximately 90%. It is free of contaminants and ideal for use in reef aquariums. Due to its highly porous structure, it has a high adsorption capacity and reliably binds ammonium, ammonia, and many other contaminants. By removing ammonium and ammonia, the subsequent stages of the nitrification chain, such as nitrite and nitrate, cannot even occur. The use of Zeo Plus leads to a gentle reduction in nutrient levels and allows the nitrate level to be maintained at a very low, near-natural level. Zeo Plus is quickly colonized by beneficial bacteria. This makes it the ideal filter medium for algae prevention and elimination, as well as for achieving biological balance.
Application:
- Rinse briefly with water before use to remove any abrasion.
- Dosage: 100-200ml (100-200g / 3.5-7oz) of Zeo Plus per 100 liters (25 gal) of aquarium water. Start with 100ml (100g / 3.5oz) and increase to 200ml (200g / 7oz) if necessary
- Flow rate: Flow through each 100ml (100g / 3.5oz) at approximately 50l/h (15 gal/h)
- Ensure that Zeo Plus is completely submerged in the water. For optimal results, use a zeolite filter
- Replace every 6-8 weeks
