Silica filter from Aqualight for connection behind the osmosis system. Ideal for the prevention of annoying slime algae and diatoms in seawater aquariums. Since reverse osmosis does not remove 100% of all substances from the starting water, the revers-osmosis water can be passed through the silica filter. The result is optimum starting water for water change or for refilling evaporated water.

For commissioning, cut through the outlet water connection ( 4/6 mm eg. 1/4 " ) of the osmosis and connect it to the silica filter using screw connections.
