carbolite type p is a pelletized activated carbon based on hard coal for professional use in freshwater and marine aquariums.

Properties and features:

- Highly activated for effective ion binding, chemical absorption & catalysis.
- Very high pore volume and high material surface area (approx. 1000 m²/g) for outstanding binding capacities.
- Selected grain size for good water flow even when used in closed filter bags.
- Rapid removal of yellow and toxic substances.
- Does not affect the pH value in seawater.
- No re-dissolution of phosphate.

Recommended use:

- Rinse with hot water for 1-2 minutes before use.
- For short-term use (3 - 7 days) :
50 - 100 g per liter
- For long-term use (3 - 4 weeks) in continuous use:
50 - 200 g per 100 liters
The entire material should be replaced after a maximum application period of 4 weeks.
- To remove toxins or medication:
approx. 300 - 500 g per 100 liters for 2-3 days
- Use in a fluidized bed filter is recommended.
- Use in a filter bag - at a well-streamed location - is possible.
