The filter is characterized by its unique quick-change system of the filter cartridge. Just loosen one screw and lift the cartridge about 2-3cm to separate the cartridge from the bottom plate. The bottom plate with the screwed pump remains in the filter tank. This filter is for use in the filter tank, it is designed for various filter materials, eg. As phosphate absorbers, activated carbon, zeolite, and many more. The construction of the filter keeps the filter material in suspension. With our filter you can achieve the highest efficiency from your chosen filter material. The supplied water simply runs back over the edge into the filter basin. The filter can be completely and easily disassembled, making cleaning and filling very easy.
Air connection The filter is equipped with an air connection. , this can if necessary via an air pump (not included) to the check valve with a 4/6 mm hose to be connected. The White Blade for the air connection must be mounted above the bottom plate. It is important to make sure that the air pump is placed above the filter overflow !!!! Otherwise there is a risk that, if the check valve is dirty or defective, the water runs into the pump and a short circuit can occur. Depending on the filter material, we recommend switching on the air pump for approx. 3-5 minutes 1-3 times daily. By this measure, the filter material is flushed through and prevents sticking of the filter material.
General information Do not clean acrylic with benzene, ethanol, alcohol or thinner. When using these cleaning agents cracks in the acrylic. The products should be cleaned with lukewarm water. All sponges should be washed out with lukewarm water before use.
