The Deltec nitrate filters of the NFP series consist among other things of a pressure vessel; this allows an installation independent of the aquarium or external filter. Nitrate is broken down biologically by the addition of nutrient solution. Nutrient solution is supplied via a disposable syringe, membrane bag or metering pump (metering pump not included).
