Nano Saltwater Fish: Stocking for Compact Reef Aquariums

Selecting fish for a nano reef requires special care. Due to the limited water volume, only species that remain small permanently, exhibit distinct territorial behavior, and do not disrupt the delicate biological balance are suitable.

In this category, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of specialized nano fish: dwarf coral and cleaner gobies (Gobiodon and Elacatinus), symbiotic and sentinel gobies (Stonogobiops), tiny pygmy gobies (Eviota), and select blennies (Ecsenius).

Please note that not every species gets along with every other species.
