Dosage
Safe and precise correction of sulfur deficiencies in marine aquariums:
- 10 ml per 100 l increase the sulfur content by 7 mg/l.
- Attention: simultaneously increases magnesium content by 5 mg/l.
- Daily maximum dose: +20 mg/l
We recommend regularly monitoring the sulfur content with a water analysis.
- Fauna Marin ICP analyses provide you with all necessary dosage recommendations in addition to the measured values. In addition to the salts of the major elements calcium, magnesium, and carbonate hardness, we also offer a range of special elements essential for marine aquariums. These elements, unlike trace elements such as copper, chromium, manganese, or selenium, as well as iron, iodine, or zinc, are elements present in seawater in concentrations greater than 1 mg/l. These include, for example, potassium, strontium, boron, bromine, and fluorine.
- The function of these elements can vary greatly. In the knowledge database on the Fauna Marin website, you will find an overview of the specific function of each element. Major elements can be present in many different substances and can thus enter the aquarium water; however, their deficiency can cause significant problems in the aquarium. Adequate supply of all essential elements is therefore essential for a healthy reef aquarium.
- Our individual element solutions are made from the purest raw materials, which are produced with the corresponding organic or inorganic compounds depending on the function of the elements. In this process, we use our coral farm for production and quality control, along with our own ICP laboratory.
