Full color spectrum / Kessil® Logic ™
With the Kessil app (iOS / Android) all colors of the spectrum can be set thanks to independently adjustable LED channels.
Kessil® Logic™: The specially designed lens and reflector combination maintains a broad delivery of light and superior penetration and, thus provides persistent output across the entire adjustable spectrum and thereby ensures consistent coral growth and excellent coloration. Shading is eliminated, hot spots are minimized.
Touch and WiFi control
The 185 Watt panel platform features touch control to easily adjust intensity and color, and to select the moonlight mode. Built-in WiFi provides even greater control and ease of customization.
WiFi controllability: The Kessil® app (iOS / Android) gives access to advanced manual control and program customization, as well as offering the ability to sync groups of lights. The app features include full color wheel control, acclimation, lunar cycle, weather effects, and more.
Coverage / Dense Matrix LED
Kessil®’s patented Dense Matrix LED technology concentrates multiple LED chips into a single array, creating a powerful and penetrating light source with wide penetration and large area coverage.
For a mixed reef: Coverage is 48" x 24" / 120 x 60 cm hanging 15"-18" / 38 - 45 cm above water surface. For an SPS dominant: Coverage is 36" x 24" / 90 x 60 cm hanging 5"-7" / 13 - 18 cm above water surface.
Dense Matrix LED technology for superior illumination
Kessil®’s patented Dense Matrix LED technology concentrates multiple LED chips into a single array, creating a powerful and penetrating light source with wide coverage and eliminating shading. The maximum penetration can reach up to 30" (75 cm) beyond the water's surface. Penetration can be further enhanced by positioning multiple units in close proximity to each other.
Color management / colour mixing
Different wavelengths are seamlessly blended within a single LED array, emitting uniform color across the coverage range.
Shimmer effect
Beautiful, unrivaled shimmer replicates the look of natural sunlight reflecting from the water.
