What it is.
PARwise is a unique meter with the ability to measure the spectrum of light.
Use it underwater or in the air depending on your purpose.
You can make all relevant lighting measurements with it.
What does the instrument measure?
PARwise measures :
'PAR' (PPFD - Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density µMol/m2/s),
Kelvin (color temperature),
LUX, Spectrum,
DLI (Daily Light Integral),
Peak Wavelength,
Hue (as color)
How does it work?
PARwise uses an optical sensor, developed and manufactured in-house,
which is located under a user replaceable cosine corrector,
to "read" the spectral content and quantity of the incident light.
The result is determined within PARwise and this is sent via USB to your device for display
The web-based app is automatically downloaded to your device (PC, Mac, Android) the first time you use it,
so you can use it completely offline

How it works.
Follow the instructions to get your PARwise meter up and running
- place the sensor near the coral (or your room or aquarium plants) to take a measurement
- use the pause button on the screen to freeze the measurement and compare the spectrum with an illumination curve or other light setting you want to copy or adjust.
