By connecting the grounding probe to the designated connection on the ReefControl Power, stray voltages from pumps, heaters, and other electrical components, which are particularly noticeable in reef aquariums due to the conductivity of seawater, are safely neutralized.

These are mostly harmless induced voltages;

however, they could also be caused by faulty devices that may need to be replaced.

The weighted probe ensures that the corrosion-resistant titanium tip remains underwater.
