Arka myAqua pH-Messgerät (PHM)

Product no.: 140846

When it's time to measure pH levels in water or other liquids, ARKA's myAqua pH meter becomes your best friend. The device determines pH levels in aquariums and pools quickly and reliably, while being suitable for both osmosis and drinking water.

Technical data:
Measuring range 0.00 - 14.00 pH
Measuring graduation 0.01 pH
Accuracy +/- 0.01 pH
Operating temperature 0 - 60 °C
Weight 50 g
Dimensions 155 x 30 x 18 mm

Instructions for use:

First remove the protective cap from the pH meter.
Rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it thoroughly.
Now switch on the instrument outside the liquid to be measured. To do this, press the ON/OFF key.
Immerse the electrode in the liquid to be measured. Make sure that the solution is not above the immersion line.
Move the pH meter in the liquid to be measured and wait approx. 30 seconds so that the measured value can stabilize.
Finally, rinse the electrode with distilled water. Then dry it thoroughly.
Turn off the meter by pressing the ON/OFF button. Replace the protective cap. The protective cap ensures that the electrode does not dry out.

Calibration:

Switch on the pH meter. Press the ON/OFF key to do this.
Three calibration powders (4.00, 6.86 & 9.18) are supplied. Select the one whose pH value is closest to the liquid to be measured. Now dissolve the powder with 250 ml of distilled water.
Immerse the electrode of the pH meter in the prepared pH solution. Make sure that the solution is not above the immersion line.
Press the CAL button for 5 seconds. The display should now show and flash the value 6.86.
When using calibration solution 6.86, calibration is complete when the display stops flashing.
When using calibration solutions 4.00 or 9.18, you must press (while the display is flashing) the CAL key once for 4.00 or twice for 9.18. The calibration is complete when the display stops flashing. When the display stops flashing, the calibration is complete.
Rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it thoroughly.

You can check the measured pH values again. To do this, immerse the meter in the pH solution and turn the meter on again. The value should appear on the display again. If this is not the case, you have to repeat the calibration as described above. After the whole process, rinse the electrode again with distilled water and dry it thoroughly.

Attention! The device is not waterproof!
