The UV-C Protector purifies the water using UV-C light. It destroys floating algae and reduces the amount of bacteria and other pathogens. It creates clear water in aquariums and ponds. A world first is the dual-tube system on the UV-C Protector. This protects the outer tube from UV rays and extends the device’s lifespan. Includes a 10-meter rubber cable for use in garden ponds.


Construction of the UV-C Protector

The double-tube plastic housing can be damaged by UV-C rays and may develop leaks over time. For this reason, devices in the UV-C Protector series are equipped with a double protective tube. The inner tube effectively shields the outer tube from UV-C rays. And if, after several years, the inner tube does become “perforated,” it can be replaced just like the UV-C lamp. The inner tube guides the water in a spiral pattern past the lamp.

Optimal water clarification is achieved through the water flow and the large volume of the UV-C Protector. Contact time is extended, and UV radiation is utilized to the maximum. The connections on the UV-C Protector can be rotated 360°. This allows for optimal installation.
