Red Sea ReefGate Upgrade Kit for REEFERs 32 mm / 1 inch downpipe (Rxxxx)

The standard ReefGate valve is suitable for gluing to 40 mm pipes and comes with reducers for 32 mm pipes.

These kits can therefore also be used to retrofit the ReefGate valve in any aquarium that uses these standard pipes.

Upgrade kit for reefers with 40 mm:

• 1x 40 mm PVC pipe – 106 mm
• 1x 90-degree elbow for pipes with 40 mm outer diameter
• 1x 40 mm connector
• 1x 40 mm PVC pipe – 48.5 mm
• 1x ReefGate valve 40 mm
• 1x reducer from 40 mm to 32 mm
• 1x 32 mm PVC pipe – 46 mm
• 1x 32 mm connector

Retrofitting requires cutting and gluing the existing pipes.

As no model-specific cutting instructions are included,

the installation should be carefully planned and prepared in advance

to ensure a precise fit.

PVC cleaner and PVC Glue are also required for installation,

which are not included in the scope of delivery.

At the same time, dripping and flowing noises are significantly reduced, as each turn of the hand wheel opens or closes the valve by only 1 mm.

This allows the drain to be precisely matched to the flow rate of the return pump, achieving a perfectly balanced water cycle.

ReefGate is integrated as standard in all REEFER G3 systems and is available as three retrofit kits for REEFER G1 and G2 systems of all sizes, including components for connection to ReefMat roller filters.
