The angled-seat check valve operates on the principle of gravity and can only be installed in an upright position.

The angled-seat check valve operates on the principle of gravity and can only be installed in an upright position.

The incoming flow pushes the internal ball upward and, as a result, guides it to the side into the bypass channel. This means there is no resistance in the flow channel, and the entire flow is not restricted.

Likewise, the inclined-seat check valve is ideally suited for installation in lifting systems, as the unobstructed flow channel allows wastewater—with or without fecal matter—to be transported.

When the pump stops or flow ceases, the ball drops back down to its initial position and seals the valve, preventing backflow.
The branch pipe has an access hatch through which any necessary inspection or cleaning work can be performed.
