Special combs in over-height for overflow and manhole system offer a hitherto unachieved protection and prevent effectively the overcoming of fish or invertebrates in the overflow system.
In particular springy fishes always succeed in overcoming standard combs and often end up in the filter or shaft systems.
In addition to the loss of the animals, technical failures are possible due to plugging of drainage pipes.
Due to numerous customer experiences and inquiries we have decided to produce these special combs.
Even with the use of closed-loop flow systems with high circulating volume, our combs are outstandingly suitable for draining the aquarium water to the overflow pump due to their large surface area and offer very good protection properties for animals and technology in this application as well.
These special combs have offset slits which are produced in a complex fine-milling process and thus ensure high stability and good flexibility.
If required, the combs can easily be trimmed with standard tools to an individually required size and they fit into standard crate pockets with a slot width of 3 mm.
