Panta Rhei Hydro Wizard

We design the water movement with our hydro wizards. They are able to move large amounts of water with little electrical energy. The system achieves an efficiency of approximately ten times that of classic centrifugal pumps thanks to the precisely coordinated four components motor characteristic curve, starting lip, impeller and rectifier. The design is made in such a way that the emerging flow reaches a maximum of 3.3 m / s and thus corresponds to the fastest natural flow velocities. As a result, there are no areas in the aquarium that can not be used by the fish.

On the suction side, the inflow speed is so greatly reduced that even weak, large fish can not be sucked. The rectifier ensures that the leaking water produces a laminar flow. As a result, a very high flow rate can be easily passed through for each fish. In addition, the water movement gets a very long range, so the mixing of the entire aquarium is achieved even at low flow velocities.

Rivers, waves and ocean currents in the aquarium.

Due to the completely freely selectable control, the Hydro Wizards can be used to achieve any natural flow situation. Whether you want a wave with different heights and forces, or a flow situation to different water levels in the aquarium, the HydroWizard control allows all parameters to be designed in such a way that the simulation can be transferred very naturally to the tank. Depending on the biotope that is to be simulated, appropriate programs / profiles can be stored.

Reef aquarium

If, for example, a reef biotope is to be designed, a program can create the following conditions. For 6:15 hours comes a stream from the right, which swells up and ends again at the end, then to be replaced by a similar flow from the left for the next 6:15 hours. The whole is superimposed by a wave.

Flow creates space!

The structuring of the water body is an effect of the flow in nature, which is not to be underestimated. Through differently strong currents, invisible barriers are created, which also form area boundaries. This phenomenon can also be used for aquarium design and the socialization of territorial species. With an appropriate flow planning, you can already define areas for single individuals or couples in advance. For this, however, a precise knowledge and definability of this flow is necessary, as is only possible with the HydroWizard.

Water movement ensures "fresh air" in the aquarium Intensive mixing results in very good gas exchange, which in turn is necessary for adequate oxygen supply. But the enriched gases are removed from the water.
