Dupla Aqua Solenoid Valve (80520)

The Dupla Aqua solenoid valve can be used for both tap water and

gas. When connected to a timer or a float switch,

the solenoid valve can be used to control small reverse osmosis systems or for

level control (evaporation compensation) in aquarium systems.

The fittings included in the scope of delivery are suitable for 4/6

mm pressure hoses commonly used in reverse osmosis systems.

Due to the nominal diameter (inner diameter of 1.9 mm), the flow rate

is limited to approx. 120 l/h (at 1 bar). When connecting to the tap water supply,

please note the following:

• The Aqua solenoid valve is designed for a pressure range of 0–12 bar.

This range must not be exceeded, as otherwise it cannot be guaranteed

that the Aqua solenoid valve will close properly.

• Ensure that the Aqua solenoid valve is not clogged by

contaminants in the water line, such as rust or dirt particles

(especially after work on the water supply system).

If necessary, a pre-filter must be installed upstream of the solenoid valve.

• When installing the fittings 3, it is essential to ensure that the

pressure-resistant hoses are seated correctly. When installing the hose,

unscrew the lock nut 4 from the fitting (slide the lock nut over the

hose) and slide the end of the hose over the hose nozzle.

Then tighten the lock nut securely onto the fitting.
