Please keep in mind that "REAL REEF ROCK" are very sensitive to transport due to their delicate structure.
If you choose standard shipping (DHL/DPD), it is always possible that there may be breaks and slight damage!
We can't guarantee that the shipment will arrive in one piece if you choose DHL/DPD.

The stones will be packed normally after weighing and shipped with a suitable box

Notes on storage and condition:

The stones arrive from USA in specially designed waxed boxes wrapped in slightly damp brownish paper.
However, due to the long journey, the handling on the way to Europe and the filigree structure, there is some chipping on the stones, also it can happen that there are larger pieces.
This is not due to our handling, but are due to the packaging of the stones. We try to prevent this as best as possible on the way to you.

When we included the RRR in our program, we contacted the manufacturer directly to ask how the stones should be stored in the best possible way.
On their advice, we store the stones in the specially designed paper and waxed cardboard box, so that the stones do not dry out completely - which could happen if they are stored open for a longer period of time.
We were directly advised against dry storage, e.g. in wire baskets, etc.
The soggy paper and the waxed box make sense in this respect.
Nevertheless, the stones can be stored like this for weeks and of course you have all the time in the world to build up the reef.
The slightly musty smell comes from this clammy paper and this disappears immediately when the stones are unpacked.
So we store and ship the stones as it is also recommended by the manufacturer and as it should be.
However, we do not keep the stones in water, repack them several times or keep them too long.
