Information on the new UP 8000 24V skimmer pump
The UP 8000 24V pump is a new skimmer pump developed to meet the highest requirements for salt water aquariums.
The new 24 volt brushless DC motor means completely silent operation and offers the highest level of safety through protective extra low voltage.
The maximum capacity is 2300 litres of air per hour at only 50 watts. The control unit allows adjustment of the air flow rate from 5 to 50 watts in 5 watt increments.
The skimmer pump can be connected to any skimmer.
In this regard the freely rotating pump housing is an advantage as the user can decide the connection angle of the pump.
The pump housing is clear ABS plastic. Hence the degree of pump contamination can be seen without the need for time-consuming skimmer pump disassembly.
In addition the needle wheel and venturi nozzle are aligned for maximum efficacy and quiet operation to meet the highest standards.
