ATI® ICP Element Fluorine
High-purity solution to increase the single element fluorine in the reef aquarium. Ideally suited to compensate for element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosing instructions:
- 10ml per 100 liters increases the fluorine content by 0.2mg/l
- Increase by a maximum of 0.3mg/l fluorine (15ml/100l) per day
- The bottle contains 2,000mg fluorine
Symptoms if the fluorine content is too low
- Pale colors and reduced shine in LPS and SPS
- Fluorine is required for color formation in certain corals (e.g. Goniopora, Acropora)
- Fluoride is incorporated into the coral skeleton as calcium fluoride complexes - Coral skeletons become brittle if there is a deficiency
Causes of low fluoride content
- Insufficient supply of trace elements
- Too low content in sea salt mixture
- Excessive skimming and use of adsorbers and activated carbon
- Strong growth of stony corals
