ATI® ICP Element Sulphur
High-purity powder to increase the single element sulphur in the reef aquarium. Ideally suited to compensate for element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosing instructions:
- 1g per 100 liters increases the sulphur content by 2.25mg/l
- One level dosing spoon holds approx. 22.5 grams and thus increases the sulphur content by approx. 50mg/100l
- Increase by a maximum of 100mg/l sulphur (44.5g/100l) per day
- The can contains 112,500mg sulphur
Symptoms if the sulphur content is too low
- Restricted formation of sulphur-containing amino acids leads to slower growth and weakness in supporting structures (especially soft corals and gorgonians).
Causes of low sulphur content
- Very common: Ca/KH supply system without sulphur ion balance.
- Too little sulphur in the sea salt used.
