SPS #2 provides your SPS corals with important trace metals and inorganic micronutrients, which are particularly needed during high metabolic activity in a radiation-intensive light environment, and which at the same time do not lead to darkening of the coral tissue.
The selected and precisely calculated trace metal composition in SPS #2 is optimised for the formation of pastel and metallic colours in SPS. At the same time, a light-coloured base tissue is obtained, which enhances the reproduction of striking chromoproteins in particular (e.g. the pink pocilloporin).
The task of SPS #2 is to prevent growth disorders under potential radiation stress conditions at the cellular level in the area of physiologically relevant trace metals. Despite high energy investment in radiation stress defence, during which coloured chromoproteins are also formed, the tissue and skeletal growth of SPS corals can also be maintained at a healthy level.
With SPS #2 you dose the trace metals iron, manganese, molybdenum, zinc, vanadium, copper, chromium and cobalt in a precisely calculated formula and in a defined ratio to each other.
Concentrate, therefore very economical. Dosage: 0.25 - 0.5 mL per 100 litres daily. The dose can also be increased if necessary.
