ATI® ICP Element Copper
High-purity solution to increase the single element copper in the reef aquarium.
Ideally suited to compensate for element deficiencies and for daily element supply.
Dosing instructions:
- 1ml per 100 liters increases the copper content by 1μg/l
- Increase by a maximum of 0.5μg/l copper (0.5ml/100l) per day
- The bottle contains 15,000μg copper
Symptoms if the copper content is too low
- Copper is a cofactor in enzymes, e.g. for the iron utilization of fish or in calcium metabolism. However, there are no known symptoms of copper deficiency
Causes of low copper content
- Due to its toxicity, a low copper content is the normal condition in marine aquariums - ideally, copper should only be detectable in very low concentrations
