The chemical composition of KH Up Reef Minerals is designed to compensate for sudden drops in carbonate hardness in seawater. It is safe to use and provides a fast and effective way to increase the carbonate hardness in the marine aquarium to the optimum level.

KH (carbonate hardness) is one of the key parameters of seawater. The appropriate and stable KH level in a marine aquarium allows corals to build their skeletons properly. KH enables pH regulation and prevents fluctuations.
