Magnesium is a macro element that is very abundant in reefs around the world.
It is a component of the coral skeleton and other animals, and is involved in a variety of cellular processes such as cell division, skeletal calcification and others.
Magnesium interacts with calcium and affects calcium precipitation, making it more difficult.
Magnesium is a macro element that is depleted quite quickly from the water in our aquariums. It is therefore important to dose magnesium in a stable and constant manner. The magnesium level should be checked regularly and adjusted so that it is optimal, i.e. between 1280 and 1440 mg/l.
With Magnesium Zlement, used in conjunction with a regular testing procedure, any aquarist can correct magnesium levels and ensure that the levels in their aquarium water remain in the optimum range for their friends.
10 ml Magnesium Zlement will increase the magnesium concentration of 100 litres by 10 mg/l.
