Iodine is a trace element found in reefs around the world and is one of the most important elements for all animals and plants in our aquariums.
It is known that iodine has a positive effect in aquariums where macroalgae are present and influences the blue colour of the Acropora genus.
Iodine is consumed very quickly from the water in our aquariums. Therefore, it is important to check the iodine content by ICP analysis and to ensure adequate levels and stability by dosing iodine as needed.
The iodine content in seawater varies greatly, but it is widely agreed that a value of 60 µg/l is ideal.
Iodine Zlement in conjunction with a regular testing procedure will allow any aquarist to correct iodine levels to ensure that the levels in their aquarium water remain within the optimum range for their friends.
1ml of Iodine Zlement will increase the iodine concentration of 100 litres by 100 μg/l.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The dosage of iodine is quite safe, but in high doses it is toxic and lethal to all animals. Do not overdose and ensure adequate levels by regular testing.
