NRG #1
NRG #1 is an organic nutrient supplement that replaces BASIS #1 and can be used to supply well-stocked and fast-growing SPS, SPS/LPS mixed aquariums, LPS aquariums or anemone tanks with corals. The main focus is on the development and elaboration of fluorescent pigments in all coral groups mentioned. The organic micronutrients are primarily aimed at efficiently supplying the corals with energy, which has a very positive effect on the polyp appearance and, above all, on the colour development of the corals.
Especially in a radiation-intensive light environment in the short-wave near-UV and violet spectral range, NRG #1 provides rapidly available metabolic energy to ensure that sufficient energy reserves are available for tissue and skeletal growth (calcification) even in the event of radiation stress.
The NRG #1 active ingredients have a visibly positive effect on the fleshy tissue of large polyp stony corals (LPS) and anemones (Zoanthus, Ricordea, Rhodcatis, etc.). In addition, depending on the light environment, multiple fluorescence in LPS and SPS stony corals in particular is also developed and pronounced.
The positive effect on general nutrient decomposition and microbial organism and species diversity is also pronounced in the NRG system and offers all the ecological advantages that characterise the SANGOKAI nutrient supply.
Before using the NRG system, the BASIS system should be established for at least six months in order to acclimatise the aquarium to the extensive organic nutrient supply and to optimally develop all aquarium biological processes. Concentrate, therefore very economical. Dosage: 0.25 - 0.5 mL per 100 litres daily.
