Zinc is a trace element found in reefs all over the world and is one of the most important elements for all animals and plants in our aquariums as it is involved in many metabolic and cellular processes.
Zinc is consumed very quickly from the water in our aquariums. Therefore, it is important to check the zinc content by ICP analysis and to ensure adequate levels and stability by dosing zinc as needed.
The zinc content in seawater normally varies between 0.6-5 µg/l.
Using Zinc Zlement in conjunction with a regular testing procedure will allow any aquarist to correct zinc levels to ensure that the levels in their seawater remain in the optimum range for their friends.
1ml of Zinc Zlement will increase the zinc concentration of 100 litres by 2 μg/l.
